Due to this subject being more private for students I will not be including any pictures, but for standard 7 I attended several school based and IEP meetings during my second practicum.

I was able to learn what these meetings involved exactly as well as who was usually present for these. I was also able to learn from my coaching teacher what the IEP goals looked liked as well as how to address an issue if a parent is not quite on board with it yet. I was also able to see how much work the classroom teacher has when students are working to achieve these learning goals, but I do still want to learn more about how teachers keep track of these goals and how they first determine when a student needs extra help worthy of an IEP when the parent is not on board.
